About

Danae Ripley, Aotearoa (New Zealand)

Danae Ripley’s work situates the human form within interior arenas. Working exclusively from her library of life drawings, Ripley frames enigmatic figures within atmospheric fields of paint, calling into question the value and place of interpersonal relationships in today’s increasingly fragile social systems.
